Chandra Pasma
Today our President Rebecca, Lead Steward Jenn and ESRTW Officer Melissa met with Chandra Pasma, MPP Ottawa West – Nepean and Opposition Education critic. They discussed issues of funding, violence, not enough staff and unqualified workers.
Elgin Middlesex Labour Award
Last night CUPE 7575 along with CUPE 4222 and CUPE 4186 were awarded the Change Maker award at the Elgin Middlesex Labour Awards presented by the Elgin Middlesex Unite Way.
This award recognized the organization, coordination and change that we were all apart of up to and including our days of protest.
